E-ppl Ltd in Donnington, Telford, Shropshire is seeking a Vehicle Technician on a 6-Month Outside IR35 contract. You will service and repair fleet platforms, ensuring operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

On-site tools are provided; the project supports early Friday finishes. The role offers a total hourly rate of £22.00 (£17 base + £5 living allowance), paid weekly, with potential extension based on project needs.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
• Proven background as a Vehicle Technician with fleet/Ex-Forces experience preferred.
• BPSS security clearance eligibility sponsored by the employer.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs on fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades and resolve defects identified during quality checks.

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd on a critical fleet maintenance project in Donnington, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs on designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Location & Commute

Situated conveniently in Donnington (Telford) with quick access via the M54, A442, and A5.

• Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, and the wider Shropshire/West Midlands area.

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
