Job summary

Join E-ppl Ltd in Leconfield, East Riding of Yorkshire, as a Vehicle Technician on a 6-month outside IR35 contract with weekly pay and additional travel perks. The role covers diagnostic inspections, servicing, and fleet repairs to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance of stored fleet platforms.

Shifts run Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 and Fri 07:30–13:00, offering a support package including hotel stays, daily allowances, and mileage reimbursement for contractors from distance.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces preferred).
• Eligible for BPSS security clearance (sponsored by E-ppl).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs on designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Pay: £19.00/hr Base Rate (Paid Weekly) + Overtime Available

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd on a critical fleet maintenance project in Leconfield, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs on designated fleet platforms.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
