The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence, and the right to work in the UK. Rotating shifts and overtime potential offer earning opportunities up to £60,000.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician - OxfordWe are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Fleet Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Oxford. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and have proven vehicle maintenance and repair experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Salary

• £40,906 basic
• OTE: Up to £60,000 including overtime

Hours

39.5 hours per week | Rotating shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm / 9:30am-6:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays with a weekday off

Vehicle Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair light and heavy commercial vehicles
• Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnostic work

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Fleet Technician
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles
• Full manual UK Driving Licence
• Own toolkit suitable for routine maintenance and repairs
• Ability to work the advertised rotating shift pattern
• Right to work in the UK
• HGV licence and trailer experience are desirable but not essential
