Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy fleet workshop in Oxford. The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence, and the right to work in the UK. OTE up to £60,000 with overtime on offer.

Hours are 39.5 per week with rotating shifts; weekends on a 1 in 3 basis. 1,500 welcome bonus, pension scheme, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
• Experience working in a busy fleet workshop is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnostic work
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete routine maintenance and safety-related repairs
• Service, maintain and repair light and heavy commercial vehicles
• Work on a varied fleet including LCVs, HGVs and electric vehicles
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety

Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician – OxfordWe are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Fleet Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Oxford. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have proven vehicle maintenance and repair experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Oxford, OX4

OTE: Up to £60,000 including overtime

Hours: 39.5 hours per week | Rotating shifts: 6:00am–2:30pm / 9:30am–6:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays with a weekday off

• HGV licence and trailer experience are desirable but not essential
