Job summary

Tru Talent is recruiting a skilled LCV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in the United Kingdom. You will service, maintain and repair vans and light commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring safety and compliance.

Regular overtime on alternate Saturdays offers competitive earnings and a good work-life balance. Key responsibilities include diagnosing faults, MOT preparation and accurate workshop documentation, with ongoing training and career progression

Qualifications

• Experience on vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose faults and mechanical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Capable of working independently and within a team.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Level 3 LCV maintenance qualification is preferred.
• Experience with fleet vehicles or main dealer environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Complete inspections, preventative maintenance and defect repairs.
• Carry out MOT preparation and safety checks.
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

Job description

Approx. £47,000 per year (including alternate Saturday overtime)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm

Overtime: Every other Saturday (half day) paid at 1.5x

Approx. £47,000 annual earnings

Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of light commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant.

Key Responsibilities of an LCV Technician, Van Technician, or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician:
