Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician for a well-established independent automotive business. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard, using modern diagnostic equipment and techniques.

Requirements include a Full UK Driving Licence, NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, and 5+ years’ workshop experience. The role offers £50,000 basic salary, Monday to Friday, with no weekends and excellent facilities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• 5+ years workshop experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.

Silcom Recruitment is currently working with a well-established and highly regarded independent automotive business, who are seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their growing team.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with 5+ years' workshop experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and more complex mechanical work to a consistently high standard.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.

The Package

• £50,000 basic salary.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.
• No weekends.
