Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is recruiting a highly experienced Vehicle Technician for a workshop on the outskirts of Totton, Southampton. This independent garage offers a strong salary and opportunity to upgrade premises for workshop staff.

Role requires NVQ Level 3+ and a valid driving licence, with duties covering diagnostics, servicing and complex repairs. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a workshop, can troubleshoot mechanical/electrical faults, and will work Monday to Friday,

Qualifications

• Driving Licence is required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults using modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests using the latest tools and technologies.
• Carry out routine servicing and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles (All makes & models).
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.

Silcom Recruitment is currently working with a great long standing client, actively searching for a skilled Vehicle Technician to become part of their team, located on the outskirts of Totton, Southampton. This independent garage provides a great opportunity & strong salary! Our client is making vast changes to their business including upgrading the premises and opportunity for their workshop staff!

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Driving Licence (required).
• You will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
• Conduct diagnostic tests using the latest tools and technologies.
• Carry out routine servicing and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles (All makes & models).
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years experience in a workshop environment.

The Package:

• Basic salary of £45,000 with great company benefits.
• Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
• No weekends.
