Platinum Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive engineering company in the Burnaston area. The role focuses on identifying faults in new vehicles and carrying out basic repairs using hand tools in a safety-conscious workshop.

Ideal candidates will have automotive knowledge, hands-on repair experience, and a strong attention to detail. You’ll work collaboratively within a team and may have overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive engineering company.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for cars, some automotive knowledge and practical experience using hand tools. The successful candidate will support the team in identifying and resolving issues with new vehicles that have been returned for repairs or remedial work.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, mechanically minded and keen to develop their skills within a professional automotive engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

What's on Offer?

• * Competitive pay of £14.00 - £18.25 per hour, depending on experience.
• * Consistent Monday-to-Friday working hours.
• * Day shifts, starting at 7:00am and finishing at 3:30pm.
• * The opportunity to work within a well-established automotive engineering company.
• * Please note: An additional hour of overtime per day may be required, depending on business needs.
