Job summary

Our client, a fast-growing UK automotive fast-fit business, seeks a Vehicle Technician for their Buckley retail centre. You will review customer work and perform a wide range of fast-fit mechanical tasks, including light and full-service work, with the company funding your qualifications. Location: Buckley.

Salary: basic £32,000–£34,000. OTE £3,600. Shift: 08:30–17:30 Monday to Friday and 08:30–16:00 Saturdays on rota with a day off in the week.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician (no formal qualifications needed).
• Desire to develop knowledge of Hybrid cars.

Responsibilities

• Light and full-service work.
• Replace and repair brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts.
• Operate wheel alignment machinery, interpret readings and adjust accurately.
• Carrying out tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements and repairs across various vehicle makes.
• Work with the workshop to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with other Vehicle Technicians.

Our client who is one of the UKs fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Buckley.

As a Vehicle Technician you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role, our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Buckley

Pay / salary: Basic: £32,000 to £34,000

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 08:30 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

• Light and full-service work
• Fast fit duties such as, Replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts
• Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
• Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
