Vehicle Technician role for an experienced Technician to join a busy and established automotive service centre, working across servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Vehicle Technician Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Service Technician.
- Strong experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Confident carrying out repairs across braking, suspension and exhaust systems.
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
- Previous fast-fit experience would be advantageous.
- Experience with tyres and wheel alignment would be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Vehicle Technician Job role:
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance on a wide range of makes and models.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and identify required repairs.
- Complete general mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension and exhaust systems.
- Carry out diagnostic and fault-finding work.
- Fit and replace tyres where required.
- Operate wheel alignment equipment and accurately interpret alignment readings.
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent workshop Health & Safety standards.
- Work closely with the wider workshop team to maintain productivity and deliver excellent customer service.
