Perfect Placement in Bedford is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy fast-fit centre, offering a professional setting that prioritises safety and quality. The role provides a clear path for technical development and ongoing training, including EV and Hybrid qualifications.

You will service, repair, diagnose, and maintain a range of vehicles, perform brakes, tyres, suspension, and wheel alignment, and keep accurate records while supporting the team to meet workshop targets.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in fast-fit centres or dealership environments.
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify faults and determine suitable repairs.
• Perform work on brakes, tyres, suspension, exhausts, and wheel alignment.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations.
• Maintain accurate records and complete job cards.
• Support team members to meet workshop targets.
