Allen Motor Group's Kia dealership in Brentwood is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards within a supportive, quality-focused team.

This full-time role is 45 hours per week (Mon-Fri with 1 in 2 Saturdays as overtime), reporting to the Aftersales Manager. A competitive package includes holiday entitlement and career development opportunities.

Formación

• Minimum City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience inspecting, repairing and servicing motor vehicles.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

Allen Motor Group is looking for a motivated and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our Kia dealership in Brentwood. This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week Monday - Friday (with 1 in 2 Saturdays as overtime) , reporting directly to the Aftersales Manager.

What will you be doing?

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers safely on the road and ensuring every vehicle receives the highest standard of care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• - Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, technical inspections and diagnostic work to a high standard.
• - Delivering excellent technical and diagnostic services while meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction and productivity targets.
• - Keeping your technical knowledge up to date and completing all required manufacturer training.
• - Maintaining compliance with manufacturer guidelines and company quality standards.
• - Completing vehicle health checks accurately and ensuring 100% compliance with our vehicle health check processes.
• - Taking pride in your workmanship and helping deliver an exceptional customer experience every time.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with a positive attitude, a commitment to quality and a genuine passion for the automotive industry.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• - A relevant formal qualification, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 as a minimum .
• - A full UK driving licence.
• - Experience inspecting, repairing and servicing motor vehicles.
• - Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• - A commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

An MOT Tester qualification would be a great advantage , and previous experience working within a franchised dealership would be beneficial, although it isn’t essential.
