Job summary

Allen Motor Group are recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our Ford dealership in Rayleigh. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week with a base pay of £31,484.70 and an OTE of £42,500, reporting to the Aftersales Manager.

The company notes that earnings average £42,500 last year, with top earners around £58,000. We guarantee a minimum of £40,000 per year for the first three months (£3,333.33 per month gross).

Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles.
• MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Experience in a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and diagnostic service to meet customer satisfaction and productivity targets.
• Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure manufacturer training compliance.
• Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards.
• Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes.

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join our Ford dealership in Rayleigh. This position is offered on a full-time working contract of 45 hours a week paying £31,484.70 with and an OTE of £42,500 reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Our average Vehicle Technician earnings were £42,500 last year, with our higher performing technicians earning on average £58,000!

We’re so confident about your earnings that we offer a guarantee for your first three months - you'll earn a minimum of £3333.33 per month (£40,000 pa, gross). When you earn more, we'll pay you more!

As a vehicle technician you’ll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:

• A full UK driving licence
• Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles
• MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial
• Fantastic verbal and written English skills
• Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)
