Job summary

Allen Motor Group in Rayleigh seeks a Vehicle Technician to join our Ford dealership on a full-time 45-hour week. You will provide technical diagnostics, services and repairs, maintaining high standards and complying with manufacturer training.

The role offers a base salary of £31,484.70 with an OTE of £42,500, plus a guaranteed minimum of £40,000 in the first three months, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Formal professional driving licence required.
• Experience in inspection, repair and servicing of motor vehicles.
• MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Experience in a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and comply with manufacturer training.
• Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards.
• Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes.

Job description

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join our Ford dealership in Rayleigh.

This position is offered on a full-time working contract of 45 hours a week paying £31,484.70 with and an OTE of £42,500 reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Our average Vehicle Technician earnings were £42,500 last year, with our higher performing technicians earning on average £58,000!

We're so confident about your earnings that we offer a guarantee for your first three months - you'll earn a minimum of £3333.33 per month (£40,000 pa, gross). When you earn more, we'll pay you more!

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:

• A full UK driving licence
• Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles
• MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial
• Fantastic verbal and written English skills
• Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)
