Job summary

Halfords, the UK's leading motoring and cycling specialist, is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician in South Ayrshire. You will perform interim, full and major services and carry out follow-up repairs and replacements, including tyres, brakes and suspension.

You should hold a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time‑served experience) and a full UK driving licence with up to 9 points. A strong focus on quality and safety is essential, with opportunities for progression and

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver's licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc).

• Comprising a base salary of £33,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £3,900 per year.
