Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services along with follow-up repairs and component replacements such as brakes, suspension and steering. The role includes a base salary of £33,000, on-target earnings up to £36,900 per year, and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £3,900 annually.

A full manual driving licence and Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver's licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, air conditioning).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repair work.
• Perform tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension work as part of service tasks.
