Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Luton to carry out interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repair work including brakes, tyres and steering components. Join an established Autocentre with clear career progression.

Requires Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served) and a full UK driving licence. You will benefit from an uncapped bonus scheme and training opportunities at Halfords.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repairs.
• Perform repairs on tyres, brakes, steering and suspension components.
• Ensure quality workmanship and safety standards in a busy Autocentre.

Comprising a base salary of £30,750 - £33,830
An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4,300 per year.

Job Role

Qualified Mechanic or Technician? Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full and major services as well as any follow up repair and replacement work. Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.
