Job summary

Halfords is looking for a Vehicle Service Technician in the UK. The role involves conducting interim, full, and major services and performing follow-up repairs including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

You will work five days a week and have opportunities to increase earnings through our bonus scheme. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a clear progression path through hybrid training, ATA, and MOT Tester qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver’s license with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full, and major services plus relevant repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, air conditioning).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major vehicle services.
• Perform follow-up repair and replacement work including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

On-target earnings up to £38,130 comprising a base salary of £32,000 - £33,830, and an uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4,300 per year. The role is five days a week, with opportunities to earn extra through our refer a friend scheme.
