Job summary

Halfords’ National Tyres and Autocare division in Wimbledon is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician. You will carry out interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repair and replacement work across tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or have time served experience.
• Full UK driving license with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services, plus related repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and related repairs.
• Perform tyre, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension work.
• Support customers and uphold Halfords service standards.

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
