Job summary

Halfords in Dingwall is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repair work including tyres and brakes. You will work within our Autocentres team to ensure quality service across all vehicle systems.

Qualified candidates will have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience, plus a full UK driving licence with up to 9 points. Halfords offers progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and related repair work (brakes, suspension and steering).
• Perform tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension work as required.
• Contribute to high quality service delivery within Autocentres.
