Job summary

Our client, a franchise-approved car dealership in Corsham, is seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor to join its established aftersales team. The role offers a starting salary of £28,588 per annum, with probationary increases and an on-target earnings potential of £32,000–£33,000.

You'll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a split-shift rota and no weekend work. Benefits include a company pension, life insurance, staff discounts, on-site parking, and a health and wellbeing programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is advantageous.
• Strong customer service background is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good IT literacy and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Warranty procedures knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally within the Service Department.
• Manage workloads, allocate tasks and chase progress to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with the workshop and customers regarding vehicle progress.
• Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
• Liaise with the manufacturer to authorise warranty repairs.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
