Job summary

BCA Bedford is seeking a senior operations leader to take charge of the day-to-day running of the vehicle remarketing centre in Bedford. You will manage the Yard, Aftersales, Production and Workshop, aligning teams to deliver market-leading service and stock performance.

The role requires exceptional leadership, budget control, and the ability to implement continuous improvements while complying with all legal standards. Occasional travel to meetings and training sessions will be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to monitor, forecast, budget and identify financial trends.
• Articulate, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience with Six Sigma / Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Bedford vehicle remarketing centre.
• Oversee Yard, Aftersales, Production and Workshop departments.
• Ensure budgetary, safety and legal compliance targets are met.
• Drive efficiency, process standardisation and use of new technology.
• Travel for meetings and training as required.
