Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic for 37 hours over four days, on-site in the UK. You will diagnose, service and repair a range of military and civilian vehicles, conducting inspections, road tests and certification documentation.

The role requires NVQ 3/City & Guilds/BTEC Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology and a Class 1 REME Vehicle Mechanic qualification. Security clearance (SC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain military and civilian vehicles
• Conduct inspections and assess vehicle condition and performance
• Complete testing, road testing and vehicle certification documentation
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding activities
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to required standards
