Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair military and civilian vehicles at Bovington on a 37-hour week, Monday to Thursday, 06:45 to 16:30. Onsite gym, supplied tools, and overtime opportunities support work-life balance.

You will diagnose faults, perform service and repair work, and complete documentation to certify testing and roadworthiness, contributing to defence and emergency services operations across the UK.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose, service, repair and maintain military and civilian vehicles.
• Able to complete vehicle documentation and test certification accurately.
• Experience diagnosing, inspecting and assessing vehicle faults; knowledge of maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain military and civilian vehicles
• Conduct inspections and assess vehicle condition and performance
• Complete testing, road testing and vehicle certification documentation
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding activities
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to required standards
