Job Description:

The Veeva Migration Technical Lead will be responsible for leading migration projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing a global team of technical consultants. The role involves project planning, stakeholder communication, team management, risk and change management, and supporting pre-sales activities. The position is remote with a flexible salary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with project managers to define requirements, objectives, timelines, and resources. Break down into work packages and track within development plans.
2. Serve as liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
3. Lead and manage a global team of technical consultants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
4. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand requirements, and manage expectations. Keep them informed about project progress and risks.
5. Identify and mitigate technical risks, challenges, and roadblocks, communicating proactively with the project team.
6. Identify potential change orders, define technical scope, and communicate with the Project Manager.
7. Support pre-sales efforts by providing technical expertise and developing tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of experience in data/document migration, ECM implementation, or related fields, with 3+ years in a leadership role in life sciences.
• Advanced experience with ECM platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault, OpenText Documentum), migration tools, SQL, XML, scripting languages, and cloud/on-prem solutions.
• Strong understanding of life sciences regulations, validation, and GxP requirements.
• Proven leadership in managing technical teams and complex projects.
