Job Description:
The Veeva Migration Technical Lead will be responsible for leading technical aspects of Veeva migration projects. This role is remote with a flexible salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, timelines, and resources. Break down tasks into work packages and track them within development plans.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as the liaison between the technical team and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication, coordinating dependencies, providing updates, and promoting teamwork.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead a global team of technical consultants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand requirements, and manage expectations. Keep them informed about project progress and risks.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, communicate challenges, and explore solutions.
- Change Management: Identify potential change orders, communicate them, and provide technical scope definitions and estimates.
- Pre-sales Support: Assist business development teams with technical expertise during pre-sales, understanding client requirements, developing solutions, and contributing to proposals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 8 years in data/document migration, ECM, or related fields, including 3 years in leadership within the life sciences industry. Extensive ECM system experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of ECM platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault, OpenText Documentum, Generis CARA), migration tools, SQL, XML, scripting languages, cloud and on-premise solutions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of life sciences regulations, compliance, validation, and GxP requirements.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership in technical teams and complex projects, with strong problem-solving skills.
