Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent degree in medical physiology.
• PGCert / PGDip in Medical Ultrasound which must include vascular ultrasound and be CASE accredited.
• Registration with appropriate professional body.

Responsibilities

• To work as an autonomous ultrasound practitioner to provide a consistently high standard of sonography.
• To produce comprehensive independent ultrasound reports in accordance with department protocols.
• To receive, manage and prioritise referrals based on clinical information and department booking protocols.
• To undertake examinations professionally and provide high quality care to patients.
