Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced ultrasound sonographer for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. The role involves a broad range of scans across obstetrics, gynecology, paediatrics, neonatal hips/heads, and MSK in a friendly team with modern Canon machines.

Typical hours are 08:45–17:00, Monday to Friday, with a 30-hour week (flexible/part-time options incl. 22.5 hours). HCPC/NMC registration and CASE-accredited qualification required.

Qualifications

• CASE-accredited ultrasound qualification required and HCPC/NMC registration to work in the UK.
• Experience in obstetrics/gynecology preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for patient care.

Responsabilités

• Perform a range of ultrasound examinations including general, obstetric, gynecology, paediatrics, and MSK.
• Contribute to Early Pregnancy clinic and MDT meetings as needed.
• Work as part of a friendly team; also able to work independently when required.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical governance.
