Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced LCV/Van Technician to join our fleet specialist team in Crayford. You will handle diagnostic fault-finding, servicing and repairs in a well-equipped, fast-paced environment.

This role offers a direct pathway to upskilling into heavy commercial work, a pension scheme, 28 days of holiday, and fully funded EV/Hybrid certifications. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle/Commercial Maintenance or solid time-served LCV experience.
• Proven ability to perform servicing, diagnostic troubleshooting and PMIs on modern commercial vehicles.
• Ambitious mindset with a genuine interest in upskilling into HGV/heavy commercial work.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) on modern light commercial vehicles.
• Perform diagnostic fault-finding, servicing and repairs.
• Contribute to major mechanical repairs across fleets in a fast-paced workshop.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £47,876 basic per annum (£20.46/hr) + Overtime paid at x1.5 rate (£30.69/hr) - Realistic £60,000 OTE!
• Shift Options (45 hrs/wk):
  • Early Shift: 06:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
  • Late Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (includes Saturdays)
