Job summary

Consult2Recruit in the Trafford Park area is seeking an experienced Van/LCV Technician for a full-time permanent role. You will service, maintain, and repair light commercial vehicles and diagnose faults while upholding safety and quality standards.

This position offers a £45,000–£55,000 base salary with overtime paid time-and-a-half after 45 hours, Monday to Friday day shifts, and opportunities for career development within a growing garage.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (preferred but not essential if experience is strong).
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent service.

Van / Light Commercial Technician

Location: Trafford Park

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 basic + Overtime (Time ½ after 45 hours)

Hours: Monday–Friday, Day Shifts

Training: Ability to train up on HGVs and gain your HGV Licence.

The Role

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of light commercial vehicles

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Van, LCV, or Light Commercial Technician
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (preferred but not essential if experience is strong)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service
