Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Swinton is seeking a Van Technician / LCV Technician with 5+ years of vehicle service experience. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on vans/LCVs, including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. MOT testing duties apply if qualified.

A full UK driving license is essential and main dealer experience is a plus. The role offers a 40-hour week, flexible start times, and overtime paid at 1.5x, with pension, life insurance and private health

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on vehicle technician experience.
• Valid UK driving license is essential.
• Experience with vans/LCVs is required.
• Main dealer experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair (warranty work within brand parameters).
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

Education

NVQ/IMI/City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent

Level 2 with main dealer experience

Job description

Salary – Up to £50,000 Basic + Overtime at 1.5x Pay (Up to £36.06ph) DOE & Qualifications

Days – Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8 hour working days (flexible working hours between 7:30am - 5:30pm, so can be 9am -5:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm), 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota paid at 1.5x (8am – 12pm)

• Must have atleast 5+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Experience in fixing Vans/ LCV's is essential
• Main dealership experience is beneficial but not essential
• NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent ideally but will consider level 2 with main dealership experience
• We would consider applicants with less experience if you have main dealer experience at Ford or any Stellantis brand
