CAREER CHOICES DEWIS GYRFA LTD. is seeking a dedicated LCV Technician to join the workshop team. You will diagnose, service, and repair vans, tackling complex mechanical and electrical faults while upholding high safety and quality standards.

The role offers training and development within a stable workshop environment. Overtime and bonuses provide earnings potential up to £41,000, with a basic salary of £37,000 and various shifts available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) or passenger vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to pinpoint faults efficiently.
• Ability to perform electrical and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Commitment to health and safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on vans and commercial vehicles.
• Identify and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to DVSA standards.
• Assist with wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and other workshop tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and diagnostics and ensure health & safety compliance.

Our client is looking for a dedicated LCV Technician to join their workshop team, providing high-quality diagnostic and repair services on vans. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling complex fault finding, electrical and mechanical repairs, and maintaining high safety standards. Benefits for the Successful Van Technician:
