Job summary

Lanes Group Plc in Wales is recruiting a Van Pack Team Leader to support proactive and reactive maintenance of the wastewater network for Welsh Water. You will lead jetting and drainage operations, inspect systems, and ensure data is accurately reported to teams.

Key duties include operating jetting equipment, CCTV survey support, and maintaining safety standards on site across North & Central Wales as the contract expands.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Required)
• WJA Red or Blue Book
• Banksman
• Manual Handling
• Emergency First Aid
• NRSWA
• EUSR National Water Hygiene
• Medium Risk Confined Space

Responsibilities

• Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks or structural issues
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear and clean drainage systems
• Adjust pressure levels based on blockage type (e.g., grease, debris, roots)
• Assist with CCTV surveys when required
• Report all findings/data accurately back to operational teams
• Complete digital data entry using a laptop or tablet
• Report safety issues in line with company procedures
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of jetting equipment

Job description

We are delighted to announce a major new contract win with Welsh Water, supporting them over the next four years and beyond, delivering proactive and reactive maintenance of their Wastewater Network., As a Van Pack Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of our operational delivery, supporting the maintenance and repair of wastewater networks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include,

• Inspecting drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks or structural issues
• Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear and clean drainage systems
• Adjusting pressure levels based on blockage type (e.g., grease, debris, roots)
• Assisting with CCTV surveys when required
