Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Van Pack Drainage Engineer in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, to service Thames Water contracts and travel to residential sites to operate high-pressure water jets for drainage restoration.

You will provide excellent customer service, maintain drainage systems, and work outdoors with 4 on 4 off hours. Full training and PPE are provided, with a strong emphasis on health and safety.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards.
• Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
• Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. You must have a full UK driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to residential sites in a van, around the Thames Valley area powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean / clear / repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages.
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 4 on 4 off (Earlies and Lates)

Salary: OTE £37,000 per annum (made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)
