Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Van Pack Drainage Engineer in Camberley, Surrey. This permanent, full-time role involves working 4 on 4 off nights, travelling to residential sites to power a high-pressure water jet for drainage restoration and carrying out drainage repairs with record-keeping using specialist equipment.

The successful candidate will work safely, maintain customer service standards, and support the Thames Water contract with a focus on quality and compliance. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused approach and safe working practices.
• Ability to record job reports accurately on provided equipment.
• Experience with high pressure jetting is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in Camberley area in a van for high pressure jetting.
• Clean, clear, repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report on specialist equipment.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains with CCTV and E/M tools.
• Rodding blockages and delivering good customer service.
• Maintain health and safety practices on site.

Salary: OTE £40,000 ((made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)

About The Role

Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.

• Travelling to residential sites in a van, around the Camberley Surrrey area powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean / clear / repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages.
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.

About You

The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. You must have a full UK driver's licence
