Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Van Pack Drainage Engineer to join their North London operations. You will travel in a van to residential sites, use high pressure jetting equipment, and perform drainage repairs with full training and PPE provided.

You’ll work 4 on, 4 off nights and contribute to excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards. The role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to work outdoors across the Beckton/North London area, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Experience with basic drainage tasks is beneficial; training will be provided.
• Full UK driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a van across North London East area, operating high pressure water jetting.
• Clean, clear, repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report on specialist equipment.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages and delivering good customer service.
• Maintain health and safety practices during works.

We operate 24/7 and as such you are required to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota. Full training / PPE / use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.

About The Role

• Travelling to residential sites in a van, around the North London East area powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean / clear / repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages.
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.

About You

The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. You must have a full UK driver’s licence
