Major Recruitment Oldham is seeking a Van Driver in Bury to deliver goods to customers in a professional, customer-focused manner. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van, load/unload cargo, and complete delivery paperwork as needed.

Applicants should have strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. The role is full-time, on-site with a fixed schedule in a well-established manufacturing environment.

Location: Bury
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm
Employment: Full-time

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers safely and efficiently. This is a customer-facing position, so excellent communication skills and a professional manner are essential.

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver goods to customers
• Loading and unloading goods safely
• Ensuring deliveries are made on time and in good condition
• Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
• Completing delivery paperwork where required
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks
• Following all relevant driving and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the wider team when required

About You

• Over 25 years old due to insurance requirements
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• A confident and competent 3.5 tonne van driver
• Customer-focused with good communication skills
• Flexible and willing to assist where needed
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Presentable and professional when dealing with customers
