Job summary

Quattro Resourcing Ltd is hiring a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative in Honiton to join a busy team. The role blends van driving with deliveries and warehouse duties, starting around 6:30am, with occasional early starts from 5:00am and roughly 10-12 deliveries per day.

You will be reliable, physically fit and customer‑focused, loading and unloading items, performing vehicle checks and helping with warehouse tasks as required in a hands-on, varied daily routine.

Qualifications

• Flexible start times from 5:00am.
• Delivery/van experience preferred.

About the Role

Quattro Resourcing Ltd are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client's friendly and busy team in Honiton.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining van driving, deliveries and warehouse duties. You'll typically start around 6:30am and complete approximately 10-12 deliveries per day, with deliveries sometimes consisting of up to 100 items.

On longer delivery days, you may occasionally be required to start as early as 5:00am, so flexibility with start times is essential.

The role would suit someone who is reliable, physically fit and enjoys being out on the road, while also being happy to get stuck in with warehouse and manual handling duties.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving a commercial van safely and efficiently
• Completing approximately 10-12 deliveries per day
• Delivering consignments containing up to 100 items
• Loading and unloading goods
• Ensuring all items are transported securely
• Using warehouse equipment to assist with heavier items
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks
• Completing general warehouse duties when required
• Working professionally with customers and colleagues
• Following delivery schedules and company procedures
• Complying with all UK road laws and health & safety requirements

Manual Handling & Equipment

There will be some manual handling involved, with lifting required for items weighing up to 20kg.

To help with heavier items, MHE equipment is provide.

Previous experience using an electric pump truck would be a huge advantage, although training can be provided for the right candidate.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious, with a flexible approach to working hours.

You will need:

• A full valid UK driving licence with Category B entitlement
• No more than 3 penalty points on your licence
• Previous van driving or delivery experience is preferred
• Good knowledge of road safety
• The ability to complete multiple deliveries efficiently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to carry out manual handling duties, including lifting up to 20kg
• A willingness to carry out warehouse duties when required
• Flexibility to occasionally start as early as 5:00am
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
