Elliotts is a trusted builders’ merchant serving the South of England. A full-time role based in Lymington involves delivering materials, supporting customers, and handling stock and paperwork. You’ll work with a friendly team that values safety, reliability and local decision-making.

Applicants should have a full driving license, forklift training is a bonus, and good communication and customer service skills. Training and progression are available within a stable, long‑standing family business.

Qualifications

• Full driving license required; Counterbalance forklift license preferred (training can be provided).
• Knowledge of building materials is advantageous; training may be provided.
• Friendly and professional manner with good communication skills; high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Multi drop deliveries to local building sites and residential addresses.
• Serve customers with a wide range of building materials, manually and with forklift.
• Load/unload lorries and manage paperwork; receive and store products.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

· Multi drop deliveries to both building sites and residential addresses in the local area

· Serving customers with a wide range of building materials, both manually and with a forklift

· Loading/unloading lorries

· Receiving and storing products from suppliers and dealing with associated paperwork

· Housekeeping in the yard

· Assisting with yard duties when necessary

Requirements:

· Full driving license, together with a Counterbalance forklift license (preferred but training can be provided)

· Knowledge of building materials, would be an advantage but training can be provided

· Friendly and professional manner

· Good communication skills

· High standards of customer service

· CPC or relevant experience are a bonus, but not essential.
