Elliotts UK, a family‑run builders' merchant, is seeking a proactive internal sales teammate in Chandlers Ford. You will grow sales by expanding the ledger and pursuing new business while delivering friendly, practical service to customers.

The role emphasises hands-on teamwork, a can-do attitude and managing quotes, organising materials and meeting deadlines. Training is available for the right candidate, and you’ll join a supportive team committed to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales within the branch by expanding the current ledger and pursuing new business.
• Organise quotes, materials and ensure orders are supplied on time, in full.
• Recommend products and assist customers with informed choices.
• Support other areas as needed and contribute to a friendly team environment.

The Role

As part of our internal sales team, you'll be proactively working to grow sales within the branch. This will be done by growing our current sales ledger, as well as actively pursuing new business.

We're looking for someone who's great with people and really takes pride in what they do yet isn't afraid of some good old fashioned hard work.

You’ll be organising quotes, materials and making sure we can supply the order on time, in full.

We'll need you to:

• Have a background in a sales environment

• Have great customer service skills, both on the phone and face to face

• Be confident. You'll need to recommend products, source alternatives at times and be proactive

• Be a great team player - able to muck in and support in other areas where needed. And up for some friendly banter with customers and your team!

Ideally, you will already have previous experience with our products. However, training can be put in place in order to support the right candidate.
