Job summary

Elliotts UK is seeking a delivery driver to join our local team. You will perform multi drop deliveries of building materials to customers, both sites and homes, with regular hours and some overtime on Saturdays. A Class II LGV license is essential, with HIAB and forklift certificates preferred.

You’ll be friendly, professional and a reliable team player. Hours are 42.5 per week, typically 7am–5pm, with no nights and overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• Class II LGV license (essential).
• HIAB/lorry loader certificate (preferable). Training may be provided.
• Counter Balance Forklift license (preferable - would be a distinct advantage).
• Friendly and professional manner
• Ability to work in a team
• Good communication skills
• High standards of customer service

The Role

Local deliveries. Regular hours. Time for life outside work.

As a local builders’ merchant, our deliveries are generally close to the branch, serving customers in the surrounding area.

You’ll work 8.5 hours a day, Monday to Friday, generally between 7am and 5pm - with your evenings free and no night shifts.

Want to earn a little extra? There’s also the opportunity for overtime every other Saturday morning, from 8am to 12pm.

What you need
