Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join DHL Express at East Midlands Airport for the busy seasonal period from November through December. Start times are early (04:00–06:00) with typically 1–2 drops per day and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include driving between the airport and delivery/collection points, performing vehicle checks, maintaining delivery records, and delivering excellent service while complying with security procedures.

Qualifications

• Must pass van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience)
• Criminal record check provided by us
• Have a 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 5-year address history
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)
• Full UK Driving Licence, Category B Licence
• A current Aviation Security certificate (formerly Level D), or willingness to complete the course during vetting (paid for by us)

Responsibilities

• Driving vans to and from East Midlands Airport
• Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
• Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Following all airport security procedures
