Job summary

The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join DHL International at Stockton on Tees for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas.

Great pay £14.73 per hour, overtime £15.95 Saturday and £17.00 Sunday, weekly pay, pension provision, full training and 28 days holiday pro rata PAYE.

Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries, vehicle checks, accurate记录keeping and exceptional customer service while adhering to security procedures.

Qualifications

• Pass a van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience).
• Criminal record check required (paid by us).
• 5-year work history verifiable with references for gaps over 28 days.
• 5-year address history.
• Valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card).

Responsibilities

• Drive vans to and from Stockton for deliveries and collections.
• Perform pre/post vehicle checks and report issues.
• Maintain accurate proof of delivery/collection records.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
• Follow all airport security procedures.

The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our well-established client, DHL International, at their site based at Stockton on Tees for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas.

Responsibilities:

• Driving vans to and from Stockton
• Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
• Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Following all airport security procedures

Requirements:

As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must:

• Pass a van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)
• Complete a criminal record check (paid for by us)
• Have a 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 5-year address history
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence, Category B (required)
• A current Aviation Security certificate (formerly Level D), or willingness to complete the course during vetting (paid for by us)
