Hatfield-based client is seeking an experienced 3.5 Tonne Van Driver for an immediate-start temporary role in Hatfield. You will manage deliveries and collections, load/unload, and support the warehouse team as required.

Key attributes include a full UK driving licence, reliable timekeeping, and strong customer service. The role operates Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with weekly pay and a friendly, supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to complete deliveries and collections.

• Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
• Follow planned delivery routes and conduct basic vehicle checks.
• Support with picking/packing and general warehouse duties as needed.

Are you an experienced 3.5 Tonne Van Driver looking for an immediate-start temporary opportunity? Do you enjoy being out on the road and providing a friendly, professional service to customers?

Our client, a well-established Hatfield-based business, is looking for a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a varied role involving deliveries and collections alongside supporting the warehouse team when required.

About the Role

As a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver, you'll be responsible for safely delivering and collecting products from customers, ensuring orders arrive accurately and on time. You'll be representing the business while out on the road, so reliability and a professional approach are essential.

What You Will Be Doing

• Driving a 3.5 tonne company van to complete deliveries and collections
• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Checking orders before leaving the warehouse
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently
• Obtaining signatures and completing delivery paperwork
• Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
• Following planned delivery routes
• Carrying out basic daily vehicle checks
• Assisting with picking and packing when required
• Supporting with general warehouse duties between deliveries
• Following all Health & Safety and driving procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Previous 3.5 tonne van driving or multidrop delivery experience is preferred
• Confident and safe driver
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible and happy to support with warehouse duties
• Available for an immediate start
