Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our Brackley operation. You will drive a company van for local deliveries, handle loading/unloading, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork. The role requires a full UK driving licence and a customer-focused approach.

This temp-to-perm position offers ongoing training and the chance to secure a permanent role within an established business. Monday to Friday with a fixed schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience driving a van or delivering goods is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive company van to complete local deliveries.
• Load and unload goods safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain signatures as required.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Follow delivery routes to ensure on-time arrivals.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Assist the wider warehouse and operations team as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join a busy and well-established operation based in Brackley.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a full UK driving licence who enjoys being out on the road, takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term opportunity.

The Role

• Driving a company van to complete local and regional deliveries.
• Loading and unloading goods safely and securely.
• Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining signatures where required.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
• Following delivery routes and ensuring goods arrive safely and on time.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Ensuring goods are handled carefully throughout the delivery process.
• Supporting the wider warehouse and operations team when required.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A full UK driving licence.
• Previous van driving or delivery experience is desirable.
• A reliable and responsible approach to work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Good attention to detail.
• A physically fit and practical approach, as loading and unloading will be involved.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
