Job summary

Responsibilities

• Driving vehicles to and from customer sites.
• Collections from sites starting at 6am.
• Operate 3.5T vehicle with a tail lift.
• Support on-site teams by loading/unloading at the main depot.
• Maintain vehicle status and report faults.
• Ensure a safe and friendly working environment.
• Manual handling of products.

Salary: Starting at £13.50ph

Driver Support Services are looking for an experienced 3.5T Van Driver for a national company for collections and deliveries.

This is an on-going agency position

What we require

• 3.5T Driving License and ability to work full-time
• Happy to undertake manual labor
• Knowledge of Leeds and the surrounding areas
• Excellent time management and verbal skills such as customer service - routes are planned with timings
• Experience as a commercial Van Driver
• Knowledge of flat bed trailer and tail lift

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Driving vehicles to and from different customer sites
• Up to collections per day from 6am starting times
• 3.5T vehicle with a tail lift
• Support on-site teams by loading and unloading at the main depot
• Responsible for fleet maintenance and reporting the vehicle status
• Ensure a safe and friendly working environment
• Manual handling of products
