Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Driving is recruiting a Van Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm role based in Haverhill, Suffolk. You will drive a long-wheelbase manual van to complete laundry deliveries and collections across multiple customer sites, with a physical, customer-facing element.

Hours are Monday to Friday, approximately 40 per week, with start times around 5:00–6:00am and finish around 1:00–2:00pm. Overtime available, driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Held licence for at least 12 months
• No more than three penalty points
• No DD or IN driving conviction codes
• Comfortable driving a long-wheelbase van
• Physically able to load/unload and handle goods
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Previous van-driving or multi-drop experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive a long-wheelbase manual van across multiple customer sites
• Complete multi-site deliveries and collections
• Deliver and collect laundry from customer locations
• Load and unload the vehicle
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensure deliveries are on time and safe
• Complete required delivery documentation
• Provide professional customer service

Requirements

For Insurance Purposes, Applicants Must

• Be aged 21 or over
