Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a dedicated VAG performance workshop in the UK. You will handle routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and performance tuning on a range of Volkswagen Group vehicles.

The role emphasizes a stable weekday schedule with no weekends, a collaborative, enthusiast-focused environment, and a strong commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or solid time-served workshop experience.
• Proven experience working on VAG (Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda) vehicles or specialist performance setups.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Volkswagen Group vehicles.
• Carry out advanced diagnostic troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Execute mechanical repairs and performance tuning within a specialist workshop.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience) + performance incentives
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM - STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS
• Perks: 20 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays (with 3 days held back for the annual Christmas shutdown), workplace pension scheme, and full uniform provided
• Workload: Specialist servicing, diagnostics, mechanical maintenance, and performance upgrades across Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, and related VAG models in a dedicated, enthusiast-driven workshop
