Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Guildford is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist to join our premier independent workshop. You will perform specialised servicing and use factory online diagnostic platforms to isolate faults on VW Group vehicles.

The role requires NVQ3 or City & Guilds Level 3, a Full UK driving licence with your own tools, and a passion for VAG engineering. MOT tester licence is preferred, with opportunities for overtime pathways.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 with strong, proven experience on VAG group platforms (VW, Audi, SEAT, Škoda).
• Full UK driving licence (essential for road testing) & own hand tools.
• Active MOT Tester licence is preferred, but not required.
• F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Superior diagnostic troubleshooting skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for VAG engineering.

Responsibilities

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 basic per annum (positioned at the top of the market based on specialist VAG experience) | Lucrative optional overtime available
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Guaranteed weekday schedule with STRICTLY ZERO WEEKENDS)
