Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in the Nottingham area is seeking an ambitious Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist to join our high‑spec workshop team. You will be responsible for manufacturer‑standard servicing, detailed Vehicle Health Checks, diagnostic fault isolation, and mechanical repairs across sports cars, luxury marques and performance models.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Essential), 3–4+ years hands‑on experience, strong diagnostic abilities and

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, Auto Mechanic, or VAG Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out manufacturer-standard servicing and maintenance.
• Performing detailed Vehicle Health Checks (VHC).
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs on high-performance vehicles.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (DOE) + uncapped monthly performance bonus scheme
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule (08:30 – 17:00) + optional Saturday overtime (approx. 1 per month)

Role Overview

Seeking an ambitious Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist to join our high-spec workshop team. You will be responsible for carrying out manufacturer-standard servicing, detailed vehicle health checks, diagnostic fault isolation, and mechanical repairs across sports cars, luxury marques, and performance models.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Essential).
• Minimum 3–4+ years of hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, Auto Mechanic, or VAG Specialist (Audi, VW, SEAT, Škoda) or prestige equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic troubleshooting, mechanical repair abilities, and complete tool confidence.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
